How to choose your charter boat
When we plan our holidays in Ibiza, one activity that you can never miss is renting a boat and discovering the wonderful corners of the Pitiusas Islands. However, given the wide range of options available, it is difficult to decide for a model. Here are a few tips to choose your boat.
Initially you have to decide on the budget. It is obvious that a couple or a small family will not have the same budget as a large group of friends. But with a budget between 50 and 100 € per person, you can get a boat that meets our needs. In Motonáutica Ibiza we can find economic boats for 5 people from 200 € a day, which do not even need a degree to rent. The Capelli Tempest 470 is an excellent option to enjoy the best coves on the west coast of Ibiza.
If, on the other hand, we have a nautical qualification and some experience, we can increase our budget a little more for a slightly larger charter boat and opt for a semi-rigid inflatable, such as the Capelli Tempest 650, or a slightly larger rigid boat, such as the Pacific Craft 670, which gives us space for groups of between 5 and 8 people. This type of craft gives us more freedom and autonomy to decide our route. They also allow us to practice water sports such as skiing, wakeboarding or donut.
In the case of a larger group, between 9 and 12 people (very common in the case of several families with children), we can opt for longer tyres such as the Capelli Tempest 775, or the Capelli Tempest 900 SUN. The great advantage of large semi-rigid tyres is their habitability/price ratio, while still being extremely sporty and economical in terms of fuel consumption.
But if our budget allows it, a yacht charter boat will make us enjoy the wonderful coasts of the Pitiusas islands as we had never imagined. Renting boats like the Capelli Cap 32WA or the Sunseeker Superhawk 50, we will be able to make great journeys in a short time, due to the high speeds they reach. In addition, thanks to its large capacity and length, we will have ample space to sunbathe in tranquility or even eat on board, with a sense of luxury and exclusivity that only large yachts can offer.
